Hello Bruno,

I have finally finished reading Massimo Scaligero's 'A Treatise on Living Thought'. It was quite a challenge and I have to be honest most of it was above my level of understanding. I believe that I do understand some of it. I understand that what we think is the activity of thinking and thought is actually a mere shiloette of the real spirit forces that make up thinking and that when we do have a conscious thought those spirit EGO-I AM forces immediately become dead in our consciousness. The activity of living thinking is the activity of the EGO-I AM in the spirit realms and our thoughts are mere shadows of the impulses that we perceive in our astral bodies. When one creates an image in one's mind one has to go past that image and begin to sense the forces that actually created that image. Something had to create that image and that something is the EGO-I AM. Going deeper into that awareness one comes into closer contact with one's EGO-I AM. When one becomes conscious of one's EGO-I AM then one becomes conscious of the world EGO-I AM or in other terms one has the experience that Moses had when he ascended the mountain (he raised his level of consciousness) had the burning bush experience (as the burning bush is a symbol of one's EGO-I AM) and then came into contact with the world EGO-I AM Christ and had the revelation of "I AM the I AM." The creative activity of living spiritual thought that truly lives in everything in the world and the cosmos came into Moses' consciousness as he was now in a symbiotic relationship of consciousness with the Christ EGO-I AM because he was now fully conscious of his own EGO-I AM. All of nature was alive with the activity of the world EGO-I AM or the Christ. No longer do we see a physical tree only which is merely a shadow of its true reality. We see the living tree (with its etheric form and universal astral element) and we perceive the living thought that is in that tree in our own thinking. We then come into contact with that Being or Beings in devachan (heaven) who create the living archetype for the particular species of trees. This level of thinking activity is the work that recreates the world and eventually raises the earth and ourselves into the etheric. Our thoughts do create the world around us literally. Spiritualized thinking (devachanic consciousness) will dissolve the dead matter that we live in now and raise the earth to the etheric. We then become co-workers with Christ in the entire resurrection and ascension process that eventually brings us to the next condition of form; the astral condition when the earth is in an astral form. This is the germinal seed for the far distant 'New Jerusalem' that "comes down from heaven".

Bruno, thank you for bringing that essay to my awareness.
